iScale3D has developed an eco-friendly camper using 3D printing and recycled materials. The compact camper weighs just 250 kg, making it easy to tow and ideal for off-grid adventures.

Its sleek aerodynamic shell is 3D printed with 9 mm thick walls that provide solid insulation and soundproofing. Despite the minimal footprint, the interior is thoughtfully designed with a cozy bed, kitchenette, and clever storage to fit up to three people.

The camper is crafted from the equivalent of 7,400 recycled plastic bottles, mixed with fiberglass, showcasing how 3D printing can turn waste into durable, functional structures. Thanks to this innovative approach, the model is approximately 80% recyclable, combining lightweight design, durability, and excellent thermal insulation.

Beyond being eco-friendly, the camper is designed for full autonomy. It includes autonomous batteries and options for solar panels, turning it into a true smart home on wheels. Built-in sensors monitor key elements like temperature, water levels, and battery charge, making it perfect for families who value technology, independence, and sustainable outdoor living.

With the potential for mass production, iScale3D’s camper offers a glimpse into the future of affordable, sustainable, and mobile living.

Although iScale3D is not the first company to 3d print living spaces, we think they could be on to something here. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
