Inside the H2D: Bambu Lab Reveals First Teaser Render in 5-Part Countdown
Bambu Lab has released a rendered image of the H2D tool head that allows us to see the internal components. This is the first image of five promised before the big reveal of their new 3D printer on the 25th of March.

The first thing we can see when looking at the image is the fact the H2D has adopted the same hot end quick swap that the A1 series printers have had great success with.
You can also see what looks to be dual nozzles, something that could be very handy when requiring differing nozzle sizes. Not to mention the saving on 3d printing purge when doing a multi-color print.

The arms and attached print heads appear slightly off-kilter. Considering that visual mismatch and the additional gearing visible on the left side, it’s plausible the hot ends aren’t permanently secured. Instead, they may rely on an internal alignment system, eliminating the need to align two static nozzles on the build plate.
Let’s also not forget about the infamous 2022 patent that was doing the rounds last year. The likeness to the new teaser image is uncanny to say the least. It is important to note that the patent was applied for by “Shanghai Outline Technology Co Ltd” and has no apparent connection to Bambu Lab.
With things hotting up around the next new thing from Bambu Lab, will you be getting your order in on March the 25th? Let us know in the comments or in our Facebook 3D Printing Community.
