Elegoo is expanding its line of FDM printing materials with the launch of new fiber-reinforced filaments, offering hobbyists and makers affordable options for stronger, more functional prints.

The first products in the range include carbon fiber PETG (PETG-CF) and glass fiber PETG (PETG-GF), both designed to provide improved strength, stiffness, and heat resistance compared to standard PETG filaments.

With prices starting at $18.99 for 1 kg spools, Elegoo is positioning this new line as an accessible entry point for users looking to explore fiber-reinforced materials — an area traditionally dominated by more expensive, industrial-grade products.

These new filaments are now available through Elegoo’s own channels and on Amazon, with global distribution covering markets in North America, Europe, the UK, Canada, and Australia.

Elegoo says it plans to expand the range further, with additional fiber-reinforced variants already in development. Early community feedback will help shape what comes next.

This move reflects a broader trend in the consumer 3D printing space: advanced materials are becoming easier to access, opening the door for a wider range of functional prints — from mechanical parts to tools and high-temperature components.
