Bambu Lab’s Shenzhen Store Puts 3D Printing on Display
Bambu Lab has opened its very first physical retail store in Shenzhen, China, giving makers and visitors a chance to see 3D printing up close rather than just online. The store occupies a substantial space in the Nanshan district and acts as both a showroom and a place to celebrate what desktop 3D technology can do.

Right at the heart of the store is an impressive 3D printed city model. Staff say every section of this “Bambu City” diorama was printed using a farm of 100 + Bambu printers running for days, and it includes tiny detailed pieces right down to small chairs and buildings. It has quickly become a focal point for fans and newcomers alike.
Visitors can also explore a dedicated Creator Space where top designers from the MakerWorld community have their models on display. This gives 3D printing designers a physical spotlight for their digital work, which until now has mostly been seen online.
The layout also includes product displays, filament showcases and interactive areas that help people understand how different machines and materials work. It’s clear Bambu Lab is trying to make 3D printing more approachable, in a way similar to how high tech brands create immersive retail experiences.
Located near the iconic Spring Bamboo skyscraper in Shenzhen Bay Mixc, the new store seems designed to inspire visitors and make 3D printing feel tangible for anyone walking in, whether they are a seasoned maker or new to the hobby.
This move into a flagship retail presence highlights how consumer 3D printing is maturing. Instead of relying solely on online communities and internet sales, brands like Bambu Lab are creating real world spaces where people can touch, feel and interact with machines and prints.
