adidas continues to push the boundaries of 3D-printed footwear with the official reveal of the Climacool Laced, a new iteration of its lattice-printed sneaker series.

Unveiled on June 20, 2025, the new model builds on the success of last year’s Climacool 3D-printed slip-on, introducing a more versatile and performance-driven design. The key addition: a traditional lace-up system that provides improved fit and lockdown.

The shoe is constructed as a single-piece lattice, combining both upper and midsole through advanced additive manufacturing. This seamless design ensures flexibility, strength, and full 360-degree ventilation — including airflow beneath the foot.

According to adidas, the Climacool Laced continues the brand’s legacy of ventilated footwear, first introduced in 2002, while now benefiting from state-of-the-art digital manufacturing. The lattice structure is engineered with variable density zones, delivering targeted support and adaptability throughout the shoe.

The launch colorway features an off-white lattice structure with contrasting black laces and subtle three-stripe branding integrated into the sides.

The Climacool Laced will debut in Europe on June 26 through exclusive retail partners, including a limited release at Solebox Paris. A wider global release will follow on July 15 via adidas.com, adidas retail stores, and select partners. The retail price is expected to be around $160 USD / €160 EUR.

With this release, adidas reinforces its leadership in additive manufacturing for consumer footwear, demonstrating how 3D printing can deliver both performance benefits and striking visual design.
